A dozen A-10s and some 350 airmen from the Michigan Air National Guard's 127th Wing deployed to the Persian Gulf earlier this month to support the anti-ISIS air campaign in Iraq and Syria, unit spokesman TSgt. Daniel Heaton told Air Force Magazine on Tuesday.
Members of the California Air National Guard's 163rd Reconnaissance Wing in early April flew the unit's final mission with the MQ-1 Predator remotely piloted aircraft and now operate MQ-9 Reapers.
