Air Force Research Laboratory awarded a $16.9 million contract to Lockheed
Martin for prototype hardware/software systems to support advanced
intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance collection and exploitation
B-1B bombers from the 28th Bomb Wing at Ellsworth AFB, S.D., along with 150
airmen, spent nearly two weeks leading operations at Red Flag 14-3 over the
Nellis AFB, Nev., ranges.
The launch of the first two Geosynchronous Space
Situational Awareness Program satellites was scrubbed Wednesday "due to
an issue with the ground support equipment environmental control system," Air Force Space Command spokeswoman Capt. Caitlin Suttie told Air Force Magazine.
