The Air Force is using its B-21 acquisition process as
an example for future programs because of its confidence in its
decision, one that was backed up in a heavily redacted Government
Accountability Office decision released this week.
While the Air Force has improved the cost and performance of its big acquisition programs, there are still schedule issues lingering across the process that must be addressed, the service's top acquisition official said.
The Air Force announced the authorization of a new critical skills retention bonus (CSRB) program for certain remotely piloted aircraft pilots, according to a release.
