Air Frame: Aug. 8 marks the third anniversary of the US-led coalition’s air campaign against ISIS in Iraq and Syria. Since that time, more than five million people have been liberated from ISIS’s control, 70 percent of the former ISIS-held territory in Iraq has been liberated, and the coalition has grown to include 69 partner nations plus the European Union, NATO, the Arab League, and Interpol, Pentagon spokesman Navy Capt. Jeff Davis said. Since the campaign began, the US Air Force has flown 70 percent of the missions against ISIS.
