CMSAF Rodney McKinley told lawmakers last week during a House Appropriations panel hearing that one of his priorities is to ensure the Air Force and Congress provides the necessary help for airmen who have been wounded in the war on terror and their families. McKinley said that in his talks with wounded military members, they have expressed “concerns about their future, and we owe it to them to make sure that they understand that we’re going to be there, we’re going to take care of them, we’re going to take care of their families.”
