The 23rd Fighter Group at Moody AFB, Ga., began flying A-10C aircraft yesterday, reports TSgt. Parker Gyokeres. For now Moody has just six of the digitally upgraded precision-attack C models, but another 44 will be arriving by spring 2008. Courtesy of BRAC 2005, the 23rd FG moved its A-10 operations to Moody from Pope AFB, N.C., and has picked up additional Hogs from Alaska units. Moody received its first of the upgraded C models early last month.
