Air Force Reserve Command’s 315th Airlift Wing has flown more than 100,000 flying hours for the war on terror. The wing has completed more than 2,500 missions, covering 22,438 sorties, since 2002. During that time, it transported some 273,000 tons of cargo and 245,000 passengers. The 315th AW flies and maintains C-17s as an associate unit at Charleston AFB, S.C. (USAF report by SSgt.
