Beating Out the French Is Always Fun: Boeing took the gold in the head-to-head competition with Dassault over which company would prevail in selling Singapore fighter aircraft. Singapore leaked word Tuesday that it had opted for Boeing’s F-15T over Dassault’s Rafale. The deal could be worth up to $1.7 billion, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. It will no doubt make Boeing’s St. Louis workers ecstatic to know the F-15 production line will continue, at least for another four years or so.
The Air Force’s plans for its portion of joint all-domain command and control have taken a major step forward. The service awarded an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity, multiple-award contract worth up to $950 million to 27 companies.
