The Salt Lake Tribune reports that Lt. Col. Raymond Roessler, 43, assigned to the Ogden Air Logistics Center at Hill AFB, Utah, died in the crash of his civilian Piper Cherokee on Oct. 5 in San Bernardino County, Calif. Roessler was flying from Long Beach to Henderson, Nev., as part of an official business trip that began with a flight from Utah to Long Beach on Oct. 2. A statement from Hill confirms that Roessler died in the crash.
