The Warner Robins Air Logistics Center gathered a team of contractors to answer a distress call from Air Force Special Operations Command. AFSOC needed more C-130 aircraft to refuel its combat search and rescue and special ops helicopters—right now. According to the Macon Telegraph, the ALC at Robins AFB, Ga., will turn over the first newly modified C-130—a 40,000-man hour project—within two months.
