A $26 million museum honoring the Tuskegee Airmen is in the works for a 35,000-square-foot hangar at Detroit’s airport. Associated Press news services reports that retired Air Force Maj. Gen. Lucius Theus said full-scale models of fighter planes the Tuskegee Airmen flew, as well as old uniforms and photos, will be included. He also said the museum will not be complete for several years.
