Seven of the 14 remaining Doolittle Raiders are gathering in San Antonio this week to mark the 65th anniversary of their famed World War II raid on Tokyo—America’s response to the surprise attack by Japan on Pearl Harbor. Lt. Col. Jimmy Doolittle led the group of 79 airmen, who launched their B-25 bombers from the USS Hornet on April 18, 1942.
