Kenney Proves Its Worth: Military personnel from the US and Indonesia, Japan, Singapore, and Thailand last week completed exercise Cobra Gold, featuring a command post exercise, multiple field training exercises, and humanitarian operations in Thailand and Hawaii. The air operations center at Pacific Air Forces Kenney Warfighting Headquarters included an embedded staff of 10 Thai and five Singaporean officers that planned and executed the air operations portion of the exercise. “We were embedded right from the start of the exercise and we’ve held positions from director level to division level in plans, operations, and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance,” said Lt. Col. Calvin Ng, of the Singapore Air Force.
