Cadets Tire of Surveys

The Pentagon plans to stop quizzing military academy cadets every year about sexual assaults and harassment because the cadets have developed “survey fatigue,” reports the Times Herald-Record of New York’s Hudson Valley. The Pentagon apparently got the Senate to include a change to every other year surveys in its version of the 2007 defense authorization bill. Whether it would remain after the House-Senate conference is uncertain, especially since some Congressmen believe the issue is still way too hot to reduce emphasis.
