Business advisors to Donald Rumsfeld have recommended that he outsource the military’s mail system as much as possible. They claim such a move would save DOD more than $200 million a year and free up personnel for more critical military jobs—like combat. Rumsfeld asked the Defense Business Board in June to study ways to improve the system, and, last week, the body turned over its preliminary report, according to Inside Defense.com.
