It is highly likely that the recent crash-landing of a USAF C-5 in Delaware has led some communities to consider what they would do—Dutchess County in New York already has scheduled a mock C-5 crash. The Mid-Hudson News Network reports that county officials on May 7 will simulate the crash of a New York Air National Guard C-5A based at nearby Stewart Airport. The event will include ANG and local first responders and other emergency response forces. Officials expect to share the results with the public.
