Senator Would Delay Pay Portion of NSPS: Sen. George Voinovich (R-Ohio) plans to introduce legislation that would delay full introduction of the Pentagon’s National Security Personnel System. Voinovich told attendees at a forum hosted by the Council for Excellence in Government and the Washington Post that he wants to ensure that he wants to employ the crawl-walk-run approach instead of running out the gate. The Pentagon already has begun implementation for some personnel, even while it is engaged in a legal battle with unions.
