Lockheed Martin on Friday received more than $14.2 million for support for Terminal High Altitude Area Defense missile systems, including theater support as a new deployment on the Korean peninsula starts. The contract modification, announced Friday, increases funding from an existing contract to cover logistics performance requirements, forward stationing for theater support, logistics information, and other services. Last week, the US delivered the first elements of a THAAD system to South Korea in response to repeated missile tests by North Korea.
