Officials Order Review of Disability Results

A Defense Department review of disability board results between 2001 and 2012 could grant some separated airmen eligibility for re-evaluation, announced the Air Force Personnel Center. This action came after DOD officials learned the criteria for some diagnoses had changed during board processing between the respective dates, states the release. The review identified 250 eligible airmen whose mental health diagnoses changed during the evaluation process. All were to be notified via mail, although only 31 have responded as of Dec. 9, states the release.
