Partnership Building in Slovenia

Members of the 435th Contingency Response Group at Ramstein AB, Germany, recently spent several days at Cerklje AB, Slovenia, to help the Slovenes improve airfield security procedures, announced Ramstein officials. “This was an excellent learning opportunity for all participants,” said SSgt. Matthew Meadows, a 435th CRG air adviser and security forces instructor, in the base’s Feb. 21 release. The partnership-building exchange took place from Jan. 21 to Jan. 25. “Security considerations are a cooperative endeavor by nature,” said MSgt. Jay Peavey, the 435th CRG air adviser and security superintendent. He added, “I was very impressed with the talent and capacity of my Slovenian allies and look forward to future engagement opportunities.” (Ramstein report by A1C Dymekre Allen)
