The Air Force has launched its new official community Web site (click here) to bring together its airmen, civilians, retirees, and their families and enable real-time socializing through the use of private or public chats. “Once Airmen and their families get accustomed to using the Web site, they will find that it is a very user friendly site that will give them much more flexibility than they have had on similar Web sites,” said Eliza Nesmith, airmen and family services chief. She said the new site is one of the efforts that the service is undertaking during the Year of the Air Force Family to better support USAF families.
