Three US soldiers are recovering after an Afghan soldier opened fire on them at a forward operating base on Sunday. The soldiers, who were stationed at Camp Antonik in the Washer district of Helmand Province when the Afghan soldier opened fire, were wounded and are receiving medical care, according to the Operation Resolute Support Twitter page. Coalition forces on base responded and killed the shooter, according to US Forces Afghanistan. The shooting was the first insider attack on US forces in Afghanistan this year. No group has yet claimed responsibility, according to Agence France-Presse.
